Sinful little creature (light_mercury@hotmail.com) writes to Granovskiy Boris (USA) on 06/08/03 18:53:
My advice: Even when you think you are running fast, run FASTER. And when you're not thinking, THINK! (And try not to step on rocks and have other rocks fall on your feet :)

I love you, Boris. Good luck with middle distance!
Julie Graves (Aevia1@aol.com) writes to Granovskiy Boris (USA) on 06/08/03 05:31:
Hey, Boris, It is a super thrill to know a celebrity athlete! We are so incredibly proud to have you representing the national team. Yes! It is great to have something American to cheer for these dismal days on the world scene. Let it be known, we are rooting for you!
Doubtless, in this endeavor one does not cheer on one's favorite with "Break a leg!" Presumably there is a proper cheer in Swedish or Russian.
What/when are your events? (I am not that all adept at navigating the website.) Just so we can hold our collective breath at the appropriate time.
May all your routes run downhill!

Mom & Dad (egranovsk@hotmail.com) writes to Granovskiy Boris (USA) on 05/08/03 18:06:
Privet, dear! You did it! You caught the guy from Hong Kong, and Mike Smith is 4 places behind!!! Not to mention the mispunched guys from Sweden and Denmark!Congrats!!!
It was a real thing - to follow the results in the real time and watch the changes in placement, leaders and so on - the real feeling of real presence!!! And my (Dad) hearth pace was high like I was running by myself...
Now relax and try to prepare to the Middle dist. well both physically and mentally!
We love you and think of you!!!!
Mom, Dad
carson black (Carblack22aol.com) writes to Zürcher Sandra (USA) on 05/08/03 17:07:
Woops, Got it just a bit wrong. But at least you'll be ahead of Simone when you start. I'll be checking in on the real results as they come in - I was looking at the "Final Start list" not the "Final"
Carson Black (Carblack2@aol.com) writes to Zürcher Sandra (USA) on 05/08/03 16:42:
Fantastic!! What a great sprint for you. Not nice to kick the Swiss and Simone's butts though;-)
This must be the best US result ever?
Hug to Beatrice she did well today too.
Did she pee her pants with your finish in the Sprint? Think I would have.
All the best to Marc and of course the USA team.

Eddie writes to Olafsen Erin (USA) on 04/08/03 21:15:
Heya Erin! Are you giving them hell? I certainly
hope so. I saw your picture on the web (at the start
of the long qual today. Its #56 of the 151. It was
tough to find you in there among all the pictures of
Sandra's boyfriend. Sheesh! I heard from Boris that
you guys were on the l'alp d'Huez for the tour
stage. That must have been AWESOME! Well if I was
there in SUI I'd ring a cowbell for you in the
finish chute. Keep after 'em!
Eddie writes to Zürcher Sandra (USA) on 04/08/03 21:04:
Sandarina! Best of luck with the races this week.
We are all pulling for you over here and burning up
bandwidth at work while anxiously awaiting the
results each day. I have noticed that a certain
Marc dude is getting lots of press on the web page.
Don't let him show you up! He might get the big head and then you'll have to take disciplinary action. :)
Eddie writes to Scarborough James (USA) on 04/08/03 20:45:
Yo. How's things at the Katzenheim? Coughing up furballs? I hope you aren't eating too many of
those cookies before racing each day. It looks like
Novikov was given the boot for ralphing at the start. Apparently thats against IOF rules. And we all know what beer and a few cookies can do...Stick
with the Jumpys.
Eddie writes to Williams Karen (USA) on 04/08/03 19:12:
Go get 'em in the middle distance, hon! We've got
a spot saved for you at the house in Tahoe. Hope
you are good at foosball. Meep!
Eddie writes to Bone Eric (USA) on 04/08/03 19:08:
Dude, nice run today, but I'm afraid you need to
come home. The dog has been barking incessantly
and he chewed up the splits-list I printed out
for him. Bad dog.
Eddie writes to Brautigam Pavlina (USA) on 04/08/03 19:05:
Pavlina you are my hero! I'd fax you the crayon
drawing I made showing you under a tree in the
sunshine with some birds and of course Walter
Mondale, but I don't have Homey's fax number.
Eddie writes to Granovskiy Boris (USA) on 04/08/03 19:02:
Boris, sorry to hear about your late husband. :)
Take out your grief in the sprint! We're all pulling
for you dude.
Eddie (bergeron@stsci.edu) writes to May Brian (USA) on 04/08/03 18:57:
Brian, way to go man! Sooo close today. Give 'em
hell at the middle distance.
Terry (tfarrah@mindspring.com) writes to Bone Eric (USA) on 04/08/03 17:44:
